Therefore, it is taken that The Client understands and accepts these terms and conditions before engaging services for Portable Appliance Testing.

Any previous test records/asset lists etc. must be made available to Amteq E & I Services Limited before testing begins.

A competent person shall be provided by the customer to meet our Amteq E & I Services Limited’s Engineer, to advise on any site safety information needed and any potential hazards when working at the customer’s premises and to also ensure the availability of appliances for pat testing.

Amteq E & I Services Limited will then provide the client with a “generic” method statement to cover the testing process and a “site specific” risk assessment pertinent to the facility being attended.

Systems such as file servers, mail servers, network switches/hubs and telecommunications equipment will not be inspected/tested without the express permission of The Client.

When conducting PAT Testing to equipment such as video recorders, DVD players, microwaves, time clocks, system timers, security alarms, etc. that are liable to lose their programmed memory upon disconnecting from mains voltage, will (for this reason) only be unplugged and inspected/tested with the express permission of the client, and it is the responsibility of the client to arrange for reprogramming of this equipment, if necessary.
